Your diagnosis group

Are you tired of doctors saying, "You don't look like someone with Marfan syndrome," or "The symptoms you are having are not related to your Marfan syndrome." The purpose of this page is to conduct a survey of the various diagnostic categories that people with Marfan syndrome fit. This page is currently designed to survey people who meet at least two major criteria and at least one minor criterion, whether or not there is more than one genertion of Marfan syndrome in their family.

Add your name or username to the criteria grouping below that best fits your diagnosis. For example, if you have met the major criteria for cardiovascular and skeletal systems, and minor criteria for eyes, list your name (or username) under the heading, "__Cardiovascular:__ major, __Skeletal:__ major, __Eyes:__ minor, __Dural Ectasia:__ none, __Other:__ none." If you don't see a heading that fits you, add the heading at the end of the page.

If you don't have a complete diagnosis yet, go to the How To Obtain Your Complete Diagnosis to learn more about how to obtain one. Once you have a complete diagnosis, return to this page and add your name to the group within which you fit.

Hypothesis: There will be a relatively equal spread of people with clinically diagnosed Marfan syndrome among the criteria groupings.

Cardiovascular|Skeletal-----|Eyes----------|Dural Ectasia-|Other---------major|major|minor|none|none
