Dural Ectasia and muscle twitches

Postby diblye on Sat Jun 12, 2010 5:14 am

Hello everyone I am new to this forum and I have a question. I am being evaluated for Marfan's Syndrom next month as I have many of the symptoms. The one I have a question about is dural ectasia. When I sit I sometimes get a twitch on my right hamstring that makes my whole leg shake, this seems to happen when I sit down and have my leg relaxed. If I am standing it never happens. Can this be related to dural ectasia? The major symptom I have for dural ectasia is that I get a very sharp pain on my lower back when I sit in the "wrong position" and it will only go away by laying down on my bed for like half an hour. Any insight to my muscle twitch would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dural Ectasia can put pressure on nerve roots and can easilly cause a variety of symptoms in the lower extremeties.

Good luck.
I used to be sorry I had no shoes, until I seen a man with no feet.
