Increasing Avapro dosage per Dr. Dietz

Just got back from the Marfan Conference in Houston. We were able to speak with Dr. Dietz about our daughters medication. He recommended we up the Avapro from 75mg to 150mg and then go to 300mg. He said he has several young children on 300mg that are tolerating it just fine. He also said if our doc balks at it to let him know and he would talk to him. Great conference, learned alot!

That is great! We are just changing our 3 year old daughters medication from Losaran to Avapro. She will be taking 150 mg/day. How old is your daughter? Would love to hear any other pearls of wisdom you took with you from the conference!
